IPAD support that makes it a minimonitor

In the photo you see the smallest laptop Apple makes.

Or at least the smaller laptop battery. Because until now you had the Apple Wireless Keyboard and IPAD, but you lacked the essential element to carry around (and stylish!) Your device for business and leisure: JustMobile support for IPAD. Want to know more?

It hardly seems like a simple piece of a successful design can give a different category to an object. Because some similar solutions may not have reached a degree of refinement such as this stand with simple lines.

Besides serving to put your Apple IPAD and thus make it a functional laptop or desktop an exclusive and small, the touch of distinction that gives the user may not be paid with the $ 45 it costs. A desk with this whole entire face many wins to promotion, the envy of peers or the smile of the co-worker who until now I had no taste for a farmhand.

Allows the IPAD in both vertical and landscape position can be adjusted in height (not me you suffer from VeriCal) and even accepts the increased thickness of the most protective cases, which do not have to submit your Apple IPAD a striptease “every time you step on the bar dancing, UpStand digooo the lectern. iOS 4 test under different use on iPhone 3G

iOS 4 test compare with the iOS 3 on iPhone 3G

Apple made iOS 4 available on Monday, June 21. Apple kicked off an action-packed week today with the full release of iOS 4, its newest operating system for iPhone and iPod Touch devices. The download is free for both iPhone and iPod Touch users, but it is incompatible with first-generation models of either device. The Apple iPhone 3G will support most iOS 4 features except multitasking and home screen backgrounds.

Since the release of the Apple A1078 iOS 4.0 on June 21 last, many people had complained of the autonomy of their phone. Macworld U.S. has conducted a test involving the autonomy of 3G and 3G with firmware 3.1.3 and firmware 4. It was tested under different uses (games, surfing and 3G wireless, downloading a movie, telephone …).

To see what difference iOS 4 made in terms of laptop battery life with iOS 3 on the iPhone 3GS we ran the same tests yet again. It turns out that downgrading an iPhone 3GS is no easy feat and our attempts at doing so failed on the iPhone 3GS phone at the Macworld office.

Here are the results obtained by the U.S. site:

As shown in both tables, the upgrade to Apple A1079 iOS 4.0 has caused a moderate increase in autonomy for the iPhone 3G and a substantial increase for the iPhone 3G. Indeed, the iPhone 3G takes 10 minutes more with the firmware 4.0 installed. The iPhone 3G takes him 35 minutes more.

And you, have you noticed such an increase in autonomy on your Apple iPhone Jobs?

Beautiful House Made of Cob

Posted by admin | review | Saturday 17 July 2010 11:48 am

Don’t you just love playing with Flickr? I was clicking around the other day and stumbled across this awesome house made from something I’d never heard of before: cob!

This house isn’t made of corn cobs but of a mixture of clay, straw, and sand. Cob is sort of like the mixture used to build adobe homes, and it’s super resilient! Structures made of cob can last hundreds of years.

Building a typical home takes a lot of materials, many of them not the most eco-frienldy. Natural building materials like cob are awesome because the ingredients can be sourced locally and don’t contain harsh chemical additives. Not only that, structures made from natural materials can help you reconnect with nature in a way that conventional homes just can’t.

I just love the curved walls and overall simplicity of this house! What really wowed me, though, was the awesome skylight:

Gorgeous, right? It almost feels like a tree house!

The other cool thing about materials like cob is that they’re perfect for the DIY-inclined. There are all sorts of ways to learn more about this kind of thing, too. You can go all out, taking a a cob building workshop or doing a green building internship, but you can keep it simple, too. If you’re feeling really DIY, maybe read up on the process and go the trial and error route with a smaller structure like a garden wall or an outdoor pizza oven.

1&1 SmartPad Android Tablet‎ review

Posted by admin | review | Saturday 3 July 2010 6:52 pm

German company 1&1 has now shipped the Android-powered 1&1 SmartPad tablet. The device comes packing a 7-inch LCD WVGA touchscreen display, an ARM 11 500MHz processor, 256MB RAM, 1GB ROM and Wi-Fi N connectivity.

There’s also a USB WWAN dongle that can be used as a wireless bridge to 2G or 3G connections. Some other features include a music player, use as a digital picture frame and access to 1&1 Video-on-Demand service maxdome.

No more, no need to continue looking for more evidence to show that the tablets have been taken over the world. As in his days with the netbooks and certainly will happen also with the e-book readers, and even Internet service providers dare to saturate the market with their own models, as is the case of SmartPad, a tactile device the seal of the German ISP 1 & 1. The device in question has a 7 inch screen, a processor ARM 11 500 MHz, 256 RAM BM, Android 1.6 (upgradeable in the future to 2.2) and a proprietary application store “100 launch applications, which not paint anything but for the position of Google in terms of tablets.

Apparently you can take a “free” if you hire a new ADSL connection (20 € / month), although we do not believe that this is an option to consider as we will be reading from Germany. Another thing is that you have a friend there and a client of the company, in which case, you can take one for 299 euros.

X Droid Advertising mocks the problems with the iPhone antenna 4

Posted by admin | review | Thursday 1 July 2010 10:41 am

Apparently Motorola thinks the antenna issues that are plaguing the Apple iPhone 4 are a laughing matter. Based upon this full page ad that was published in today’s New York Times, we’d have to agree. The detail info below :

They say that “in war and love anything goes”, and since the sale of mobile falls into the first of those two, Motorola takes an oversight by the competition to win converts. In the New York Times was published a full page advertising that not only indicates the characteristics of the Droid X, but also provides information stating that:

It comes with a dual antenna design, which lets you hold the phone as you like and use it almost anywhere to make calls with crystal clarity

Sure, but do not mention the name “iPhone 4″ anywhere, it is clear that concern the issue of the antenna that has the new Apple mobile. After the jump you will see the full announcement
